In a recent interview with Joe Bass, affectionately known as “Little Joe,” he shared some insights into the history and unique culture of his business. One interesting tidbit is the serendipitous connection between the previous owner, also named Joe, and himself. “I actually bought it from a Little Joe. His name was Joe Medina, and I have always been known with my family as Little Joe. So, it was meant to be. Two Joes,” he chuckled.
What sets Little Joe’s Boots apart is not just its longevity but also its deep-rooted commitment to its customers. “I think the uniqueness would be family-owned, small business, and probably the quality of merchandise we carry,” Joe explained. “And kind of the help we offer customers on a real personalized level.” This personalized touch has fostered lasting relationships, with Little Joe’s now serving third-generation customers.

“It’s kind of like a small-town feel. Everybody is really nice to deal with… I think people coming into Oklahoma City to see if they want to get a true feeling of Oklahoma City, this is a great place to shop and spend your money and to eat,” Joe explains.
