These Anderson Bean bullhide cowboy boots pair a washed blue jean bullhide vamp with a 13″ navy waxy cowhide top and a tan oxbow sole. Tough as nails, handmade in Mercedes, Texas, and ready for real work.

  • Built to Outlast · Bullhide ranks close to elephant and shark leather for toughness. Brush, fence wire, and stirrups don’t stand a chance.
  • Softens Up, Holds Its Shape · It breaks in to fit your foot, but the boot stays upright and sharp instead of sagging at the ankle.
  • That Pebbled Bullhide Look · A deep, natural pebble grain you can spot from across the room. No two pairs look exactly alike.
  • Not Your Grandfather’s Bullhide · Washed blue jean color, a waxy cowhide top, and an oxbow sole. Good looking and built for a full day’s work.

Description

Anderson Bean Bullhide Cowboy Boots in Washed Blue Jean

The Anderson Bean 361729 is a bullhide cowboy boot built for people who wear their boots out, not just out to dinner. Bullhide is one of the toughest leathers you can put on your feet. It ranks right up there with elephant and shark for abrasion resistance, but it’s cattle hide, so it stays easy to care for and easier on the wallet.

These aren’t your grandfather’s bullhide boots. The vamp comes in a washed blue jean color that looks broken in on day one and only gets better. Up top, a 13″ navy waxy Kansas cowhide shaft shrugs off water and dirt. Underneath, a tan oxbow sole gives you real footing in the barn, the yard, or the arena.

Bullhide softens as it breaks in, but it doesn’t slouch. The boot keeps its shape after years of wear, so it looks sharp long after softer leathers have caved at the ankle. Anderson Bean’s Cush-N-Sole insole handles comfort from the first wear.

Every pair is handmade in Mercedes, Texas. Looking for a different look? Browse the rest of our Anderson Bean boots or our full lineup of cowboy boots.

FAQ

Is bullhide the same as cowhide?

Both come from cattle, but bullhide comes from a bull. It's thicker and tougher, with a heavier pebbled grain than standard cowhide.

Are bullhide boots stiff?

A little at first. Bullhide softens as you wear it, but it holds its shape far better than softer leathers, so the boot won't slouch over time.

Are these bullhide boots good for work?

Yes. The bullhide vamp resists scuffs, the waxy cowhide top sheds dirt and water, and the oxbow sole gives solid footing around the barn and ranch.

How do I care for bullhide boots?

Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth, let them air dry away from direct heat, and condition the leather every few months. That keeps the grain from drying out.
